Essence House Cafe

We have been to this restaurant many times. The food Is always wonderful and the service is always great. We went today at lunchtime. It was not a good experience. The food was still good but the service was beyond terrible. We had to get our own menus. Nobody took our order. We had to ask for a waitress. We received our salad and had no silverware which we ended getting ourselves. The Reuben came out prepared incorrectly. I don’t know what happened to the servers at this cafe. I highly suggest management reevaluate the people they have hired. The servers were much better a few months ago. I will give this place one more try in the future. I hope it’s a better experience.

This was our 1st visit today. The Cafe has 12 tables and had a constant flow of people in and out. We weren't 100% sure if we should seat ourselves or wait, but later saw people writing names on a list for a wait (mental note for next time). It took a moment to be greeted. Our server got our drinks and took our order quickly. The food was very good. I ordered an omelet and my husband got a traditional breakfast with eggs and meat. We enjoyed our visit, and the pricing was reasonable. Looking forward to our next visit.

I love how fresh everything is. This is a wonderful, local restaurant for the town of Fulshear. The food is always consistent, and I‘be tried many new items and love them all - so makes my decisions harder when I go!

Food was good, we stated at the beginning we would be on 3 separate tickets. That was forgotten about. Our waitress wouldn't check on us, as some of us were trying to order more food and ask for refills. Overall poor service, but the food was good.

I love this place. Food is amazing, love the atmosphere. You will not be disappointed when you come here. Service is top notch. Restaurant is clean and staff is speedy. Superb!!

Love this place! Been going here since elementary school always have the best pastries and their unsweet tea is awe-inducing! It is a smaller store so I don't recommend more than 6 people per party. There is also limited wheelchair/highchair seats, unless you sit outside. The food and service is always good but def try to beat the lunch rush on Sunday. Please check it out if u have the time 😊

This was my first time at Essence House Cafe and I must say it was an awesome experience. The staff and the food was terrific. Not to mention the Strawberry Shortcake that I had oh my God it was amazing! If you are ever in the Fulshear area I recommend you stopping by and trying this place out.

We will definitely come back to Essence House Cafe when in town. Food was delicious, service was fabulous and the atmosphere was welcoming. This is definitely a Hidden Gem.

Food is great, service needs help. Owner should be involved in training staff, they have no idea what to do. Hard time understanding how the kitchen runs so well and the front of the house is so poorly ran. Not sure if it is just on Sunday’s or all the time?

I specially ordered a full Italian cream cake for a bridal shower from Essance. Not only was it ready on time and looked beautiful, but it was delicious as well. Huge hit with the guests! Thank you to everyone who helped making my friend's bridal shower extra special and delicious!

My wife and I had breakfast here, and the food was AMAZING!! So amazing that we came back and ordered lunch and dinner to go. Establishment does have limited space so get there early if you are looking to dine-in. P/s: I had the Wild Shrimp Sandwich #tolivefor.

The restaurant only holds a small amount of people. The noise level low so it was easy to hold a conversation. Salads and sandwiches are good.

This cute little spot is a gem! The menu is simple yet there is something for everyone and the coffee rocks. The food was fresh and I can't wait to go back and try the asparagus omelette! Can't go wrong with the breakfast tacos and their salsa is delicious. Get there early, they fill up fast!
